Hi all,
Whats the best way to floatfish worms for perch, do they want to be laying on or just on the bottom? and what sort of floats are best?
Thanks
Either works experiment with depths sometimes just on works and occasionally move the float to lift the bait off the deck can sometimes induce a bite!!
As for floats either a insert crystal or staright crystal wagglers in varying sizes dependant on depths are what i use. Inserts best for those still days or when the perch are feeding abit finicky straight wagglers for when there is abit of tow or the wind gets up so you can fish more over depth to keep the bait still.

I tend to lay em on the bottom by a couple of inches and inject them with air so the tail "waggles" off bottom but the head keeps the worm sunk. Most wagglers will do the job, best not to have to fine a tip though as the worm will tend to make it dip and bob.
