View Full Version : anybody got a canon 18-200 lens and is it any good ?
hi chaps
has anyone used the canon 18-200 lens on here.was looking at it for all round general use rather than fish portrait shots.i,ve read mixed reviews about it and wondered if anyone had any first hand experience.
cheers tp
Ive played with one on a 50D, seems reasonable.
Not seen any shots off the camera though.
Lots of scope, no massive plus points but no major negatives either it seems.

tp... have a look here...
http://www.pbase.com/cameras/canon
Scroll down and you'll find your lens beyond all the cameras listed.
When you click on it you should then be able to see various images taken by people using it. It wont be a review but at least you'll be able to see how good (or bad) the lens is in the right hands and with the right camera. When you click on a photo to view it, a lot of the times it will tell you what camera they used and sometimes settings too.
hope this helps :)
cheers tutti, good site that
Another good site
