View Full Version : Directions
Would you agree that it would be a good idea to put directions and nearest railway stations onto the web site of all your waters? Maybe road directions from the nearest main road or motorway? It would make life a lot easier.

Hi Scorpio
I don't know if you remember, or if you've been a Leisure Sport/RMC Angling member for long, but they used to have directions in the guide books.
Now in the last few seasons they seem to have disappeared! Having had a group ticket then in the last few years a coverall I've tried quite a few fisheries and some are a pain in the a*@e to find!
So I think yours is a good idea, what about it Ian?
I certainly would Ian, there are places online where you can download local maps too which may be useful, I think that the main routes in from the motorways etc. would be sufficiant

Hi Ian what about a link from here to a map site
One of the best sites for decent directions is www.streetmap.co.uk
Some of the maps even have a photo of the area
It has helped me find many a venue.
All this is in the pipeline Guys. You'll also have local weather reports and a few other goodies to help you out.
Bill.
Sounds great... I won't catch any more fish but at least I'll find the fishery easier!
