I was planning on fising Frimley a bit this winter. I was wondering if i could get some hints/tips, and what lake would be best?

Cheers

I can't comment on Frimley but any red bait will produce anywhere better than any colour in the winter months.

Lakes 1, 2 and 3 will all produce with some regularity during the winter and all are turning up carp at present. 1& 2 are easier than lake 3 simply becuse they are smaller and have more fish in them but Lake 3 fishes as well. Leave Lake 4 alone until spring/summer !

Most methods work I like the pva bag with a bit of trout pellet and a pop-up hookbait Tales Up bait like Protovit Liver is very succesful on Frimley - give it a try. Stringers work well here in winter as well.

How does anyone else fish Frimley in winter ?
