View Full Version : Big Eels- Best Rig

Every few years I do some Eel fishing and I have been lucky to catch a few large Eels.

But it's always about time and getting lucky.

I usually use JS rigs, free running lead, open bale arm and popped up worms, but having suffered another night of striking at nothing, I wonder if times have moved on ?

I have tried a bolt rig set ups, on light constant Baitrunners, but never had any success.

Any thoughts ?
