Anyone with hints or tips on catching better sized eels.

If you are a catch and release eel angler then see www.nationalanguillaclub.co.uk, and also try the forum link. Lots of help available here. If you are fishing for the table (and I'm sure your not) then don't look-it's not allowed!

We've had double figure ones reported, I've had them to 4lb myself on boillies. Looking at putting one of my 3 rods out for a biggun. Don't fish for the table.

The lake is connected to the sea. A smaller lake nearby, I believe used to hold the Welsh record.

All i can say is try squid and oct by solar, think its a good eel flavour but i dont know if it would sort the big ones out
