I believe that Scar was out a couple of weeks back at around 37lb.......I think.....

Not heard of any up to date news yet.

I saw that, 37.02lb or something similar. How many times has it been out this year? I can think of four-ish

Keeping it with garlic mayonase and cracked black pepper.

Is that low for that fish?

Klewless

Any other lakes in the RMC portfolio or elsewhere where regulars have noticed low average weights this year??....

It varies between mid 30 and scraper 40. Its only done 40 twice though, Gary Harrow and Jim Shelly.

Weights are not good on all my regular waters. Redesmere had its worst ever Autumn both in terms of numbers of fish out and weights. My syndicate lake in Essex has most of the big girls down - will be glad to see the back of this year http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Keeping it [censored] weather

Anything happened of late?

What's the situation regarding the car parking?

carpyDAN

weights on most waters this year arent as good as usuall due to the particle approach which went a bit out of control and when fish eat particles they just crunch em up and [censored] em out in smaler peices and therefor very little weight is put on through them

i was havin a chat with a mate the other day and we noticed when looking in carp talk that fish were coming out a bit more often than usuall and this again we think is due to the fact that particles dont fill them up really and they therefor spend more of there time eating

Paul

I think for the most part that a carp on particles is more catchable than a carp feeding on boilies, mainly because of the mechanics of the rig compared to a boilie presentation and the fact that carp like munching on beds of bait.

Anyway any Cray news anybody?!

carpyDAN

i disagree and think it has alot to do with the fact that they need more particles to fill em up and as soon as they [censored] it out they need more and havnt gained anything from it

they get filled up easier and put on more weight when eating a diet of boilies as opposed to particles and therefor dont need to eat as many

Paul,
i agree. Its far easier to catch over beds of particle's than boilie's.Carp get preoccupied with all the little seeds an particles.

Always found it to be the case, just wish I could put the net under one of those Cray Carp!

Maybe next year, but the locals put me off this year!

car parking is no longer in the compound it is now on the kennal bank of k1 which is not lockable but pretty safe as there is generally someone fishing the kennal bank swims just keep all goods out of sight

So its the first car park on the venue map. Is Kingsmead signposted from the main road? I am coming from the M25.

Many thanks for your help.

Go down Park Lane as you usually would, past the kennels & turn left opposite the old Crayfish/Island Lake carpark, onto the banks of K1.
