Does anyone have a copy of CARP THE QUEST FOR A QUEEN by J Bailey,it was first pulbushed in the late 70's,but it is out of print as i have tried to get a copy through book shops, am not to fussed out the condition of this one.Also does anyone have a copy of FOX POOL and TIGER BAR by Rob Maylin.One other does anyone have a copy of WAITING FOR WADDLE.

Cheers cash, great weekend.

Come on don't be shy, some one must know something/one where i could find these books, ive tried most of the local tackle shops for these. Realy want to get my hands on a copy of the john baily book, it features the lake that i used to fish (the grave yard) in norfolk.

There is a copy of the Bailey <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.anglingbooks.co.uk>here</A> for £15 - might be a reprint though as the date is 1998 not late 70's.
As a guide for the other books expect to pay about £25 to £30 for a copy of Tiger Bay & £40 to £50 for a copy of Fox Pool.

Now i got a copy of the j bailey book in the post to me,only problem is that it is a revised version, i have contacted someone else about an orginal but this might not come off, so if anyone has a copy that they want to part with then send me a PM. i really want an orginal copy.
Still after the others, anyone out there want to part with them.Let me know.
I need a good read, still suffering from a 10 month blank /images/forum/icons/mad.gif/images/forum/icons/mad.gif yes/images/forum/icons/mad.gif that's 10 months, last carp i caught was from farlows in june.
MAybe next time it will happen /images/forum/icons/laugh.gif/images/forum/icons/laugh.gif(cause it will).

TRY YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY FOR CARP THE QUEST FOR THE QUEEN,MY LIBRARY HAS A COPY.YOU COULD BUY IT OFF THEM OR SAY YOU LOST/HAD IT STOLEN AND JUST PAY THE COVER CHARGE.SOUNDS A BIT HORRID,I KNOW,AND I WOULDNT DO IT BUT YOU SAID YOU WANTED IT REALLY BAD!!!!!!

Found an orginal copy (bought it ) also found a revisied copy bought that too.The other two are the ones i want Fox Pool and Tiger Bay by rob maylin , also on the look out for (The carp strikes back) by Rod hucthison and (carp and the carp angler) by fred wilton methink that these two maybe more differcult to get hold off.
