has anyone got any usefull tips or info on the big pit as Iam thinking of taking up yhe challenge this coming june and have never even seen the place,should be takeing a good long look soon though.

hope you like walking lots of dead ends & places to get lost, location is the problem during the summer months, spring is the best time to see the fish.

I fished it for the first time in about 20 years last Wednesday.

Saw some movements, nothing startling or really positive.
Had a couple of liners on the marginal rods, no pick-ups though.

Saw one shady character, but he claimed to be some web guru..................
