This year the Bubbles event will be nice and early this year so we should get some better weather, unlike last year in December where the lake froze over.

Dates are..Friday 27th, Sat 28th and Sun 29th March 2009

Cost is £45 each for the weekend with a donation going to Stoney & Friends

For the outstanding prizes from last year, very sorry for the delay, will be on it today.

Had some bad news today in that i will be on a 3 day week as of March (40% pay cut effectively).

As a consequence of this, i will no longer be able to go on my planned fishing trip end of April to Millstone Pool. So there is a space available if anyone can step in at very short notice. Its exclusively booked for a Sat-Sat fishing week and holds some proper lumps as those who have fished there can testify.

Biglee15 on here has organised this trip so anyone who is interested, please PM him asap. Anyone that knows anyone that might be interested, please let them know asap.

Now looking for another job but vacancies are seriously thin on the ground. Already in poor street and looks like i might get kicked out of there in the near future :(

Last year I did green with Camo print so lets make a different one.

Green with Lizard skin print

Or blue, grey or brown with any of the above or camo.

Personally, I think Brown with camo will look good.

It also helps if mates dont want to use your rods to experiment a new bait for you and put, an empty stella can, a mushroom and a slice of pizza on your hook. :lol:

I'm sorting out minted Lamb burgers, beer burgers, pork burgers, McEwans, chinese pork, minted Lamb and barbeque chicken kebabs, some McEwans and savoury sausages, curry sausages, more McEwans, venison, pork and garlic, pork and tomato, pork and leek and beef sausages all washed down with lovely McEwans. I forgot the chicken wings, legs and the odd can of McEwans.

All you boys need to do is bring along a large contribution for Stoney a plate and your witty banter. (some bread rolls might be usefull too) :bonk:
