Sorry for the delay in posting this fella's but the forum picked a great time to start playing silly beggars.
The bidding went right to the wire with Boxy and pjc bidding against each other. Pjc outbid Boxy with minutes to spare and Boxy got the final bid in with seconds left on the clock.

Boxy won the auction for £365, and he will get to spend an unforgettable day with Simon Scott fishing for Carp right up close and in person.

I would like to thank all the fella's who sent bids, especially Boxy and Pjc who made the last few minutes of the auction so exciting.

Also a big thanks to Simon for donating his time to such a great cause.

not meaning to hijack the thread but have you thought about doing a massive online auction once per year of all the big items stoney, a bit like the wild trout trust do?

Tom

This was done once before in aid of us and turned out to be a nightmare, and im still trying to resolve the problems. Just too much happening at the same time for him to cope.

So much better to have them every so often and that way we can control them, and can support the persons involved, as in this case DaveMac did a great job on our behalf.

It was my pleasure Allan, its nice to get invovled.

Big up Boxy! Top marks to you sir, you are in for a belting day out.

Once again thanks to those who bid, the total raised wouldn't be that high unless someone pushed it that high, so many thanks to you all.
