Can anyone tell me if many carp get caught off the surface at horton?

I`m not being funny james, and i`m not saying you couldn`t do it, but to catch a fish of the top at horton is pretty rare.

just a quick reality check for you all.
the last 3 years i have fished horton the total number of carp caught of the top are...
ZERO.

From what I've read Jack was a bit of an exception and a sucker (relative to the rest!!) for a floater...Dave Lane also had him off the top, and I remember Chris Balls incredible pictures of Jack taking mixers in the close season??

Hello you lot,

I thought that Jack had died along with some others (Heart tail etc.) in the fish kill a couple of years back?

Was that the case Ian?

...that's correct Paul...the only 40's to survive the fish kill were the Parrot (such a beautiful fish!), and Shoulders...now there's a beauty!
