We are pleased to announce that once again CEMEX Angling have kindly given us the use of Bait-Tech Yateley Complex (except Car-Park Lake) for the 13th Stoney & Friends "Yateley-Bash"
Fri 7th, Sat 8th & Sun 9th August 2009

I'm in this time round. Question though, if the CP's not going to be available then surely the North won't either............seeing as it'll be a syndicate from March 09?
it will be ok as long as the members know well in advance mate, cant see a problem having one weekend booked up all year, hows the mutt?!

Think some of you may be getting the wrong idea about my post. Of course I'd be happy for the lake to be used and all I'm doing is querying cemex position on it. Like I said, the CP is out of bounds so wouldn't the North be? Is it actually up to syndicate members?
And if the North is used, would syndicate members attending the bash get first choice on the lake?
No its a private booking, so if you join in you then become part of that private booking and as such the fact that you are a syndicate member means naff all Stu.
Good point about the Car Park being off limits so why shouldnt the North be, but in that case, you then have to take the Match Lake off the menu too, and that would mean two less lakes to choose from and a loss of numbers for Stoney, and ultimately a loss of wonga for the charity too.
Personally I couldnt think of a worse lake to plot up on for a social than the Car Park, hardly prolific! Keep it as it is, as long as syndicate members know the dates that the lake will be closed then there will be no problem apart from the Chef you miserable old so and so LOL!!!

The fact that the Stoney and friends 2009 will be held on the complex again with the dates being known, will be part of the letter sent to potential members, so that they can make an informed decision on if they wish to join a particular syndicate.

£275 per year = £0.75 per day x 3 days.......cant really see why losing a whole £2.25 worth of your fshing should be any sort of issue.

Got my app today and I'll be going on the North, cheque'll be posted at the weekend Mr stone sir!
Just to clarify the application form issue, we offered the North Lake (and Match lake) members first choice to fish their own lake before the mailshot for the main event.

It's perfectly ok I have been told that the receiver has a range of 20 miles where as the curry house is only a small jog of say 1/2 a mile to the rods!
Never mind what i'm not catching it's what you lot have caught i'm more worried about!
The forms have just been emailed out to our subscriber mailing list. If anyone has any issues downloading it - let me know.
The forms will then go up on the website in a week or so to give our subscribers first option on the lakes. If you're not on our mailing list - sign up and you'll receive forms early for all future events :)

me and few friends fancied doing a bit of boating on the river stour to pass a nice summers afternoon, so i dropped of my car at a local garage just over the border and paid them to deliver it a few hours later down stream, the following hours are to graphic and horrendous to explain here but im finally comming to terms with what happend to me and my friends after months of counciling, however i cant bear to hear the sound of a banjo or a squeel of a pig.......

On a serious note for a second, I dunno about the other lakes but if you're on the North and are prone to mossi bites, get some good repellant.
I've had loads this season, the wortst being 11 bites on my neck and face in one night, it's not nice!

Please note...
Marshalls on all lakes will be checking landing nets and mats to see if they are wet or dry prior to fishing for the Yateley 2009. All nets and mats MUST be dried out prior to entering the venue...
Please see the statement below from Mick Barnes...
With the confirmation of the disease Koi Herpes Virus being present at Farnham Angling Societies Badshot Lea Big Pond, all anglers are reminded that Nets and Unhooking mats should be dried in the sun before being used on CEMEX Angling waters without exception.
We do not want to run the risk however slight of introducing this disease to any water.
Your help in this matter is appreciated.
I know it could be a big ask, but if any Yateley bailiffs are around on Friday morning, we would be grateful for any help in our KHV bio-security check. To speed things up a touch.
We will be checking that all Nets, Slings, Stinks-Bags and Mats are bone dry before any angler sets-up on the lakes.
