Top Tip - Spring baiting
With spring time now only a few weeks away, the fish will start becoming more responsive to bait and feeding times will become more frequent. However, many anglers make the mistake of putting too much bait in at this time of year and generally ruin a swim before they have started. The fish will just be coming out of their winter state and may only want to sample a few baits to get them in the mood, and on the pressurised venues spend a lot of time off the bottom, mingling through water layers.
For this, purpose solid PVA bag presentations with a good helping of a fish oil covers both options.
The pellet based feed within the bag lures any fish close to the bottom, whilst the oil penetrates though the layers, creating the perfect oil slick to entice and drop fish down into a feeding mood.
